Bauma China calls

Bauma China 2018 takes place from November 27 to 30, 2018 in Shanghai and Contractor magazine will be there to cover it!

The event’s new dimension reflects the upswing of the industry that enters a new era. As the show enters its 16th year.

Both an exhibition and networking opportunity, the last show in in 2016 attracted over 170,000 visitors from 149 countries and regions as well as 2958 exhibitors from 41 countries.

The 2018 show, once again, will occupy all 300,000 square meters of exhibition space at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Contractors attending from this part of the world are promised the largest construction equipment trade show in Asia, with its vast display of construction machinery, machines, vehicles and services, as the show pools industry innovations from around the world.

The show already has attracted around 3000 exhibitors, including the return of a giant in the sector: Caterpillar, which is participating for the first time since its last attendance in 2012.

Other well-known names such as Bauer, Liebherr, Volvo and Wirtgen will also be there.

Bauma China is the world’s second largest trade fair for construction machines after bauma in Munich (owned by the city of Munich) with an exhibition space of 300,000 square meters.

The entire area of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre – 17 halls and the outdoor area – will again be completely occupied.

Various countries – including Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, Turkey and the US – present themselves with joint stands.

Exhibition Director Maritta Lepp anticipates a similarly high number of visitors as in 2016 when around 170,000 professionals visited bauma CHINA, where 2,958 exhibitors from 41 countries presented their products and innovations. The biennial trade show took place for the first time in 2002 and has strengthened its leading position in Asia since then.
