Anthony Green and John Henare of Wilson Earthmoving will also feature in a talk about the foundation of a virtual reality training school for excavator operators with support from the Provincial Growth Fund.
Road safety presentations will illustrate new thinking and best practice. These include a presentation from Dr Hamish Mackie on managing competing demands on our roads, Simon Douglas of the Automobile Association on communication of safe speeds, and presentations from Grant Bosma, Barry Bignell, Fabian Marsh and and Dr Jared Thomas on safe intersections and road safety outcomes.
