Kensington Swan partner Stuart Robertson and his family are donning their Blondini gang flying helmets and doing a bit of car rallying at Easter.
It’s the bi-annual Pork Pie charity run and the Robertsons are driving a 1978 Mark IV Mini called George, along with 59 other Minis, from Kaitaia to Bluff, and raising funds for Kids Can. For those who don’t understand the significance or scale of this see footnote.*
The 2017 Rally raised $210,000 for Kids Can, and this year the goal is $250,000. To help them reach this goal you can make a donation by clicking through to this link.
*This is a six day journey covering 2000 kms. The journey mimics the plot of classic NZ movie ‘Goodbye Pork Pie.’
