Contractor magazine has been a print magazine since it first launched in October 1976.
Four hundred and seventy something issues on and we have a significant announcement to make. Yes -a digital version of Contractor magazine is now available in real time for print subscribers. We aren’t total Luddites- a digital version has been published online for several years now, always lagging at least a month behind our print magazine. The lag is over- if you are currently a paid individual subscriber or receive the magazine as part of your association membership you qualify for access and can read the magazine online the day it is published.
Steps for access
You need to email admin@contrafed.co.nz with the words ‘Digital Access Please’ in the subject line. We will add your email list to our software programme and an email link will be sent out to you when this is done. You click the link and create a password for access purposes.
What access means
With full access to our digital platform at Partica you will be able to read all the issues of Contractor that are currently uploaded. At present every issue from 1976 to 1980 and from 2005 to present month is saved here. Furthermore all this content can be searched using the archive ‘search function.’ e.g enter Manapouri and read Hugh de Lacey’s fantastic article from July 2011’s issue.
