Entering the Dunedin Centre through the Moray Place entrance we are in a venue that has been transformed.
The vendor booths are gone; replaced by circular tables. The work dress has mostly been replaced by black tie, and Hirepool banners are festooned against the walls.
It’s the fitting climax to a three day conference and the chance for the civil construction industry- in the middle of an unprecedented boom, to acknowledge industry achievements over the past 12 months.
