Fulton Hogan announce key appointments

Fulton Hogan is pleased to announce the appointment of Graeme Johnson to the position of CEO – NZ Regional Business and Domenic De-Fazio to the position of CEO – NZ Construction.

Mr Johnson and Mr De-Fazio are respected Fulton Hogan leaders who have nearly 30 years’ collective experience within the company. They take over from Robert Jones who stepped down at the end of June 2017 after serving as the New Zealand CEO for two years.

Fulton Hogan has realigned its New Zealand leadership into two streams – Regional Business, and Construction – to build on the strength and talent within the business. Working closely together, Mr Johnson and Mr De-Fazio will deliver an integrated end to end service and innovative technologies that meet the needs of customers today and in the future.

Graeme Johnson has held several senior management roles within Fulton Hogan, most recently as General Manager – South Island responsible for six South Island regional businesses and a staff of over 1600. He has worked across many parts of the business in New Zealand and Fiji, giving him a solid understanding of Fulton Hogan’s diverse operations. Graeme is well known for his ability to develop collaborative teams which have strong relationships with Fulton Hogan’s customers and the community.

Dominic De-Fazio

Domenic De-Fazio was most recently the General Manager – Southern Construction (Victoria and Tasmania) where he led the business’ diversification into rail, water and airports. Under his leadership Fulton Hogan secured many significant projects, including over A$1 billion of rail work. Domenic also led Fulton Hogan’s first major project in Queensland, expanding the company’s construction footprint beyond Victoria, and was one of the company‘s first Australian alliance leaders.
