I have been in Vegas now since Monday, and the Conference is into its third day. The mood is buoyant and some data released by AEM(The Association of Equipment Manufacturers) might explain why; equipment manufactures supported over $416 billion in sales activity in the US in 2016, and added $159 billion to GDP.
There are 120,000 buoyant Americans here, in other words, waving their cheque books and getting down to business. As one fellow delegate said to me, ‘It’s a turkey shoot.’
Like the city itself, the turkey shoot has been quite an experience. Here’s a short a clip from inside the main building at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
