Following on from the Kekerengu Fault footage, we are sharing another drone clip. This one is footage filmed at Waipapa Bay, where the Papatea Fault scarp has lifted rocks as much as 6 metres out of the sea.
During the quake sequence these rocks would have been travelling at 11,000 km/h, scientists have subsequently calculated.
