Australian mining company Boral’s new quarry at Peppertree, NSW has a catchment area that requires 3 million tons of aggregate each year. In October’s issue of Q&M we profile the in-pit crushing unit the company has installed to meet this demand.

The Metso LokoTrack LT160 with the patented Lokolink mobile weighs in a 285 tonnes, measures 12 metres high by 25 metres in length and is the largest mobile crusher in the Southern Hemisphere. It can crush 1150 tons of rock per hour.
