Training feature in November’s Contractor magazine

Department of LabourIn November’s issue of NZ Contractor magazine we’ll be looking at training and the opportunities which are available for learning specific industry skills. In addition to industry training courses for those already involved in the industry, there are people seeking industry work, such as school-leavers and migrants.

There is plenty of ground to cover here; polytechnic courses which traditionally assist those interested in the industry are now being bolstered by secondary-school level training, and at present there are also calls for personnel interested in training as workplace health and safety advisors.

This feature will be appearing in November’s magazine. The deadline for booking advertising space in this issue is October 10th and material is due on October 15th. If you have any questions please contact Charles Fairbairn via email on charles@contrafed.co.nz.
